Introduction to Vulkan-Headers

The Vulkan-Headers package contains a set of header files necessary to build and link applications against the Vulkan API.

Development versions of BLFS may not build or run some packages properly if LFS or dependencies have been updated since the most recent stable versions of the books.

Installation of Vulkan-Headers

Install Vulkan-Headers by running the following commands: 

mkdir build &&
cd    build &&

cmake -D CMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/usr -G Ninja .. &&
ninja

To test the results, issue: ninja test. Two tests are known to fail due to the use of the deprecated ciso646 header with GCC 15 or newer.

Now, as the root user: 

ninja install
